The NAVTEQ Network for Developers has a ton of events coming up in September. We have already mentioned Futurecom (going on now) and NAVTEQ Developer Day – Chicago (Oct 6), but there is even more NN4D sponsored events coming your way in September!
First up on September 17th, is a awesome Chicago based event, Windy City Rails. This event is already sold out, but there is a waiting list you can get on. This will be an amazing gathering of Ruby on Rails experts and will include 6 full length sessions, 7 lightning talks as well as many hands on activities throughout the day. The NAVTEQ Network for Developers is excited to be a sponsor and help foster the Chicago Developer Community.
On Monday, September 19th , NN4D team member Ashish Bedekar will be presenting at Mobile Monday Seoul! Yes, that is Seoul, South Korea and we are very excited for this opportunity to introduce the NAVEQ Network for Developers to the tech crowd in Seoul! Wednesday, September 21st is another great Chicago based event, JavaScript Hack Night! This is a meeting of JavaScript folks and is being hosted by NAVTEQ. That means the meeting will be in our Chicago offices (which are very swank!) and we also provide the refreshments! On Thursday, September 22nd, the NAVTEQ Network for Developers will have a presentation as part of the Plug and Play Fall EXPO in Sunnyvale (Silicon Valley), California. NN4D is a Gold Sponsor for the Fall EXPO and we are going to be out in force at this event! The Plug and Play Fall EXPO “features 30+ promising startups gaining exposure to over 60 top-tier VCs, investors and corporate players.” This is a seriously cool event and full of cutting edge startups looking for funding. NN4D will be there talking to Developers and startups about all NN4D has to offer and we hope to see you there.
Finally, on September 26th, is Mobilize. Mobilize is organized by Gigaom and is shaping up to be quite an impressive event focused on mobile devices. NN4D’s own Marc Naddell will be speaking on Monday, September 26th at 5:05 PM on the topic “Building a Robust Developer Community”. Also, since NAVTEQ is a Prime Time Sponsor of Mobilize, the NAVTEQ Media Solutions team will have a workshop called, “Location Based Incentivization: Practitioners’ Insight”. This workshop will be on NAVTEQ LocationBased Advertising™ and will give you a good overview of why you should choose NAVTEQ LocationBased Advertising™ for your next app.
